question to the older peeps here, do your non-academic achievements actually matter now? like your cca achievements/leadership positions, have they actually affected your interview etc?

It helped me in the very early days ngl. I don’t think it’s really about the achievements in the end. I’ve learnt and grown a lot non-academically and that helped me hone my softskills :)

Sharpen your communication skill. it will help a lot in your interview. experiences can be pick up.
achievements/leadership post you achieve during your education period is merely a stepping stone - stable or useful depend on what you learn from it

Fresh grad - Yes.

Old birds - No. Related work experience more important.

It only affected when you were looking at a scholarship I think.

It did not matter for me.
