was buying lunch today at SLS and supposedly my favourite salted egg chicken/butter pork store 3 Meals A Day used to be one store w the famous Taste Good LOL

apparently the owners quarreled and split, then post covid one of the owners + the OG taste good chef opened 3MAD next door HAHAHAHA

LOOK WHAT I FOUND NEAR OFFICE ice cream uncle 🥳 lifesaver in this hot weather… he’s right outside people’s park complex near chinatown mrt exit C! i asked him he said he’s usually here 9:30am to 6pm everyday… he abit fierce but worth the sweet treat HAHAHA

went along w the 333 kreta ayer exploration group yesterday and look what we found! ette tea company! i’ve heard gd things about their tea so we went in to take a peek and it smelt so good? especially all their local unique tea mixes… my fav is the nasi lemak and orh nee omg smelt heavenly

lunch today at the social space! honestly a tad pricier than i would’ve liked, but for the cause :”) the pesto chicken pasta was not bad! the iced matcha was decent, despite the price point. it was a tad sweet for my liking but i forgot to ask for less sweet. liked that it was sweetened w honey tho!

was walking back to office after lunch and spotted this plant based butchery! quite interesting, i remember rais mentioning the vegetarian food was good! but didn’t know downstairs was a plant-based ‘butchery 🌱

was wandering around for work yst and let’s just say that there was a small toilet emergency so i decided to try my luck at carlton city hotel and THE TOILET DAMN CLEAN. damn shiok, like 9/10 super clean, everything is automatic, no need to touch 🥳

but… when u exit, the door is a pull??? WHY

Finally went into 99 Old Trees Durian to kaypoh, like not bad eh. Though it’s quite crowded even on a weekday afternoon. Inside even got washing area and two toilets, super clean and atas sia! Seems like a must visit for durian lovers?

maanged to buy the fried buns (生煎包) at shanghai fried xiao long bao (chinatown complex)! it’s not bad sia… but the queue is slow 😭😭 $4 for three is not bad! the taste and the bottom is crunchy so damn shiok haha the taste is just nice, nothing mindblowing but really good nonethless! #sbinchinatown

Jia Yuen Creamy Salted Egg Rice! Ordered the Butter Chicken i think… HAHAHA it’s not bad! Nice and warm, and I like that you can do it with chicken. The egg is a little overcooked tho :”( The portion is quite generous and the food is flavourful but for $8 wah abit painful….

Bought these $0.90 drinks from Kun Hai Shop. The drinks are from a brand called Cha Pai. I got the Lemon Black Tea! Tastes like Pokka Lemon Tea but slightly stronger tea taste. Would recommend you try it at least once. There’s also peach oolong, green grape oolong flavours - basically fruit x tea!
